What if, as women, we began to love ourselves enough to see the masterpiece that we are with all of our beautiful colors, lines, and contours? What if we saw the holes and broken parts of our lives as magnifying our beauty and individuality? What if we celebrated the worn edges as signs of our resilience and fortitude? What if, we looked closely and realized that the reflection of our lives on others is powerful, elegant, and brings joy to those who experience it? What if, we treated ourselves with the same love and admiration that we have for a simple sea shell? (This project is done in honor of my sister and best friend, Krista Ferrell. Together we collected these shells on an excursion near Charleston, South Carolina.) (closed collection)
